MEMPHIS – The Memphis Chamber of Commerce Drag Night, Saturday, July 18, featured the Old Fashion Freeze.
“Thanks to all the Memphis folks who came out and supported our Old Fashion Freeze,” said Memphis Chamber Manager Kim Cloyd. “It was so much fun.”
Cloyd said the women who work at the Old Fashion Freeze dressed up to make it even more exciting.
“They were so cute,” she said. “Everyone enjoyed the fellowship while sitting around the square talking about the good old days and the hard times of today.”
This was a great example of Memphis residents supporting local businesses and doing what they can to make Memphis better, Cloyd explained. The next drag night will be Aug. 15. Cloyd said a poker run is being planned.
“Times are hard on our small-town businesses, and the help and support they get from our locals may just save them,” Cloyd said.
