WELLINGTON — Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Wellington Care Center continues to be closed to visitors since Thursday, March 12. Staff encourages visits at the windows, on Facebook or a simple phone call.
As the 4th of July holiday approach, the dietary department provided a an early Independence Day celebration on Thursday, July 2. The cookout style meal consisted of BBQ chicken, baked beans, potato salad and watermelon.
Staff even popped off a few fireworks in the front parking lot of the facility. After the fireworks, residents cooled off with an ice cream dessert.
