Mary Louise Pierson, age 72 of Memphis, died Thursday, June 25, 2020 in Amarillo.
Graveside services took place at 2 p.m. Friday, July 3 at The Chapel at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Rev. Dale Griswold officiating, and Bro. Glenn Johnson as the eulogist. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Viewing was held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 2 at the funeral home. Due to the Coronavirus, only five people were allowed to enter the funeral home at a time. Social distancing practices were observed by those attending the service.
Arrangements were by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Mary Louise Davis Pierson was born to James and Elvie Mae Davis on May 16, 1948 in Sherman, Texas. She and her parents were diligent servants for our Lord Jesus Christ. She moved to Memphis where she was united in marriage with Earl Wayne Pierson in 1965.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by her two sons, Derrick Wayne Pierson and wife Kellie of Grove, Okla. and Brandon James Pierson and wife Desary Pierson of Memphis; three daughters, Evelyn Richardson and husband Tony of Irving, and LaSheria Johnson and husband Glenn and Roshanda Pierson, both of Memphis; four granddaughters, Marissa Pierson of Amarillo and Alexzaydria Flores, Keona Pierson and Dais’Janique Johnson, all of Memphis; four grandsons, Devonte’ Earl Pierson of Lubbock, Derrick Wayne Pierson II of Amarillo and Champ Johnson and Brandon James Pierson II, both of Memphis; and three great grandchildren, Serenity Harris and Grace Hildreth, both of Amarillo and Kai Angel Pizana of Memphis.
