CHILDRESS – Childress Healthcare Center celebrated its two certified nursing assistants (CNA) during CNA Week.
Esmeralda Juarez has been with Childress Healthcare Center for 17 years. Voted as Employee of the Year by the Childress Chamber of Commerce this year, Childress Healthcare Center Administrator Amanda Self said she has the biggest heart.
“The residents of the center absolutely adore her and have voted her the best,” Self said. “To know Esmeralda, it to love her.”
Self is happy to have Juarez as part of her team. She said it is comfortable to know that when families can’t care for their loved ones at home, Juarez is there to take care of them like there are her own family.
“It is not how much we do, it is how much love we put into the doing,” said Juarez.
Childress Healthcare Center’s other CNA is Jaden Foley. She started in February and is enrolled in school to complete her certification as a nurse aid.
“Jaden goes above and beyond for the residents,” Natalie Hamrick said. “She comes to work with a smile every single day.”
Hamrick added that the residents always look forward to seeing her.
“I love working at the Childress Healthcare Center,” Foley said. “The residents are amazing, and they always turn my day around. You don’t really work if you love what you do. My favorite thing about Childress Healthcare Center is we all work together as a team.”
