Editor’s note: The following scholarships were not sent to The Red River Sun until after the paper had been sent to press last week.
MEMPHIS – Ruperta Marie Mauldin was awarded the Memphis Little Theater Scholarship $300, Memphis Ex Student Association Scholarship $150 and the Cyclone Foundation Scholarship $400.
Carlos Rene Ortega was awarded the Memphis Chamber of Commerce Scholarship $500.
Christopher Wade Pepper was awarded the Capital Farm Credit Scholarship $1,000, Hall Childress Soil and Water Conservation District Scholarship $750, Memphis Ex Student Association Scholarship $150, Hall County Picnic Association Scholarship $200, National FFA Scholarship $2,250 and the Cyclone Foundation Scholarship $400.
Abby Layne Proffitt was awarded the Capital Farm Credit Scholarship $500, Hall Childress Soil and Water Conservation District Scholarship $750, Austin Elementary Scholarship $300, Hall Country Picnic Association $200, Memphis Little League/Matt Waller Memorial Scholarship $500, Kevin Alexander’s “Big Dog” Scholarship $250, Sybil B. Harrington $18,000, Cyclone Foundation Scholarship $400 and the Reba Stroehle Scholarship $5,500.
